Customizable 10kVA 120/240V Residential Off-Grid Power System

Solar panels, charge controllers and the wiring to connect them are a carefully calculated pairing. We offer some pre-calculated bundle offerings that have already been properly sized for optimal performance, efficiency, safety, and operation with the rest of this kit. With that said, you can also bring your own panels just ensure to do the appropriate math for calculating your strings and add the appropriate cabling to hook them up. We have selected our most popular and performant battery options - this system will need at absolute minimum 15kWh, however most off-grid systems demand significantly more than this minimum and are best sized with a 25-30 kWh battery bank. In this case, bigger is better, since you will have more reserve capacity for periods of bad weather or high demand.

Since you selected a charge controller on its own rather than a complete bundle, you will need to select the appropriate cables, fuses, and communication cables to connect it into the system. The controllers will need a 5/16" ring terminal and the Lynx Distributor also has a 5/16" ring terminal. Typically this cable is 4-5 FT, but you can extend or reduce your selection as needed.
