The Pytes V5 battery is a UL9540-rated battery that will work with a Sol-Ark. With a 5.12kWh energy capability, 100Ah capacity, and a maximum charge/discharge of 100A, this battery is a good solution for installations that need a server rack battery. This battery comes with an internal heater as well, which allows it to charge and discharge in lower temperatures.

The Pytes V5 battery also comes with RS485, CAN, and WiFi communication protocols, making it good for any system that needs different communications. This battery also easily communicates with a Sol-Ark as it is a preferred partner. This means that monitoring this battery is simple and effective.

Question:

Could I use one Pytes V5 to interface with my Sol-Ark 15k, and three Pytes Ebox 48100R networked to the Pytes V5 ? I get error codes from the Sol-Ark when the Pytes 48100R batteries are controlling charging. Right now I am using the 48100R in voltage controlled (bulk) mode, with the Sol-Ark controlling the charging. Not ideal. Daniel Mitchel, [email protected]

Answer:

If you have the 48100R battery you will need to use that model. You cannot combine the V5 with the 48100R.
