The Victron Battery Switch is a simple battery disconnect switch. It can be used to quickly disconnect a battery bank from the inverter. This switch is a simple on/off switch that makes or breaks the connection on the positive line. It does so by a simple relay inside that either keeps the connection or breaks it depending on where the switch is turned to. The Victron Battery Switch is up to ISO8846 Ignition Protection standard, making it suitable for engine rooms and other heated environments. It is perfect for both 12V and 24V systems up to 275A.

The voltage rating on the spec sheet says 48 volts, but most LiFePO4 battery banks in that range are 51.2 volts. Is it correct to say that this would not be good for the typical ~48vDC LiFePO4 battery bank? |

Victron has these listed for 60V, meaning that these battery switches do work in 48V systems. |

Since the Victron spec sheet linked above says that the "Maximum operating voltage" is 60 v, seems like it IS OK for a 48 v system. Am I missing something? |
